About Saint Faustina Kowalska
Saint Faustina Kowalska (1905–1938) was a Polish nun of the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy and one of the most influential saints of the modern Catholic Church. She is widely known for receiving visions of Jesus Christ and spreading the message of Divine Mercy.
Through her spiritual diary, Divine Mercy in My Soul, Saint Faustina recorded her experiences and the importance of trusting in God’s mercy, forgiveness, and compassion. Her devotion inspired the worldwide celebration of Divine Mercy Sunday, established by Pope John Paul II. Today, she is honored as the patron saint of those seeking hope, forgiveness, and spiritual renewal.
